Warm Thursday

Good morning everyone. Yes, the sun is out again and based upon what the weathermen are saying, the  temperature should get near the 70's. Oh my. I have a go to town to get a condolence card for a friend. I read in the Amherstburg's paper that his mother past away. I think while I'm in town I'll get a coffee. Do you want one while I'm there?
Yesterday I was reading a friend's blog. His name is " The Cube " He wrote in his blog about
                                                           ( taken from " The Cube " )

It was a very interesting blog that dealt with smell app. I then thought about something that I saw in one of food shows The person said  " It smells so great as I cook this food. I wish that we had
Smell - o - vision so that you people watching the show could enjoy this show much better. After reading my blog friend The Cube's blog, I started to wonder about Smell - o - vision. Would enjoy such a thing. Wouldn't it be great watching a food show as they were cooking all those beautiful materials. Smell good, doesn't it? But then after thinking about it, if we had Smell - o - vision,  what kind of smells would you have in watching a movie. Gasoline, garbage in the ally, cigars & cigarettes, and even if an actor farted. No thank you, I don't want Smell - o - vision. I'd rather use my mind thinking how the food must smell food show. Thank you Cube for your great idea.

Thursday's Funnies

A Teacher, A Garbage Collector, And A Lawyer at Heaven

Recently a teacher, a garbage collector, and a lawyer wound up together at the Pearly gates. St. Peter informed them that in order to get into Heaven, they would each have to answer one question.
St. Peter addressed the teacher and asked, “What was the name of the ship that crashed into the iceberg? They just made a movie about it.”
The teacher answered quickly, “That would be Titanic.”
St. Peter let him through the gate.
St. Peter turned to the garbage man and, figuring Heaven didn’t really need all the odors that this guy would bring with him, decided to make the question a little harder: “How many people died on the ship?”
Fortunately for him, the trash man had just seen the movie and answered, “about 1,500.”
“That’s right! You may enter.”
St. Peter then turned to the lawyer. “Name them.”

Garbage Day

A Father is asked by his friend, “Has your son decided what he wants to be when he grows up?”
“Yes, he wants to be a garbage collector,” he replies.
To this his friend responds “Strange ambition to have for a career.”
“Well, he thinks that garbage collectors only work on Tuesdays!”

That's it for today. Suddenly the sun has left us. Even though it's still warm. I understand from my daughter, she said that we are going to have a thunderstorm. I love thunderstorms. At least there isn't any snow. Have a wonderful Thursday wherever you are today. See ya.

  2. I thought I heard my name ;) Thanks for the mention.

I'm glad my April Fool's article sparked your imagination about the profundities of smell. It is an interesting subject.

Just a little correction, though, I'm not a guy. You're not the first to assume that polyhedrons are masculine and I'll tell you what I've told all the others... where do you think little cubes come from? :)
