Cool Tuesday

Glad to be back friends. I've been thinking about my blog lately and what I plan to do is not write my post every day but probably three or four times a week or have it smaller in material. I know that I may lose all my friends that read it but that's my decision for now.
For today, it will be complete. The sun is in the clouds and it hasn't shown its face yet. This week is going to be cool and windy, in the low 70's and that's OK by me.

A Reasonable Fee
A man phones a lawyer and asks, "How much would you charge for just answering three simple questions?"
The lawyer replies, "A thousand dollars."
"A thousand dollars!" exclaims the man. "That's very expensive isn't it?"
"It certainly is," says the lawyer. "Now, what's your third question?"

Lawyers and Alligators
Two alligators are sitting on the edge of a swamp. The small one turns to the big one and says, "I don't understand how you can be so much bigger than I am. We're the same age, we were the same size as kids... I just don't get it."
"Well," says the big alligator, "what have you been eating?"
Alligator         "Lawyers, same as you," replies the small alligator.
"Hmm. Well, where do you catch 'em?"
"Down at that law firm on the edge of the swamp."
"Same here. Hmm. How do you catch 'em?"
"Well, I crawl under a BMW and wait for someone to unlock the door. Then I jump out, bite 'em, shake the crap out of 'em, and eat 'em!"
"Ah!" says the big alligator, "I think I see your problem. See, by the time you get done shakin' the crap out of a lawyer, there's nothing left but lips and a briefcase..."

Guess Who
A guy walks into a post office one day to see a middle-aged, balding man standing at the counter methodically placing "Love" stamps on bright pink envelopes with hearts all over them. He then takes out a perfume bottle and starts spraying scent all over them.
His curiosity getting the better of him, he goes up to the balding man and asks him what he is doing. The man says "I'm sending out 1,000 Valentine cards signed, 'Guess who?'"
        "But why?" asks the man.
"I'm a divorce lawyer," the man replies.

( Lawyers are OK but expensive )

My sister was driving to go to Alberta for her new job but as she drove through Montana ( USA ) she took this beautiful photo. WOW!

This photo was taken from the mountain top in St. Thomas. Can you see our cruise ship?

Well I'm finally finished. Have a great Tuesday everyone.

  1. I don't think you'll lose readers to cut down on content or blog less often. Over a year ago I went from writing mine every day to writing it twice a week and I think it's actually gained me followers. Whatever you do, I'll be back.

I love St. Thomas. Someday I will return, but by plane and spend a week. Then I can explore.

  5. Hi Paul, I will still be around to visit your blog whenever you post. The puppy with the yellow flower is really cute and the snow covered mountain photo is gorgeous.
