Good afternoon everyone. Today's excursion is to the island of
BARBADOS
Many ships can be dock in this area. The Reflection was docked on the upper left location and the they shuttled us to terminal building to be put on buses for our excursion.
As we entered the terminal we were told to follow the red dots not the green ones. There we would be put on our bus.
The ships that were docked with us were the MSC Preziosa,
the Coasta Magica,
our ship the Reflection and across from the termimal was a sailing schooner.
While in the terminal I took a photo of Mary Lou & her new friend.
Once on the bus our excursion lady began telling us about the Barbados and all the good things about this island.
She should us where two famous people live while in the Barbados, the singer Rihanna who came from the Barbados and Simon Cowell, you know you he is from American Idol. She told us that he loves staying here and has bought some land in the Barbados. We passed by some sugarcane fields that are no longer worked on. She told us that today it would cost far to much to work on sugarcane.
Later we stopped for photo taking and to have a cool drink.
I wanted a closer lool at this rock and it was large.
Our guide later took us to a 17th century church and it's cemetery.
and finally, Ferdinando Paleolcus died 1678.
Once done, we were shuttled back to the ship and I sat on our balcony as we sailed away from Barbados to go to our next island, St. Lucia. See ya later friends.

Celebrity Reflection
Well I hope that you enjoyed my first blog about my cruise.
Last year I found this place on the 15th deck right off of the elevators. This area was very quiet and I would spend much time listening to my music, resting and even having some lunch. You could have lunch at The Porch,
or enjoying the
or lunch having hamburgers, hot dogs & fries which we did have one day called the Mast Grill.
The lawn area had a place where many people ran every day and Mary Lou was one of them. I would watch her and others run around the 15th deck. As they ran, I enjoyed my music or just rested. During the week Mary Lou & I would play Yatzee. ( She beat me everytime except once ) Lucky me.
As you can see, I was sitting there listening to my music and having a coffee which I did many times during the 10 days.
ANTIGUA
We had arrived in Antigua beginning our first excursion. We were told to go into the Reflection Theatre to set us for excursion groups.
Mary Lou had to go up to the front to pick up our stickers which would arrange our grouping. When called we went out of the ship. Unfortunately, Mary Lou & I didn't go on our excursion. While we were waiting for our bus, a gigantic storm left us like wet ducks & cold. I mean totally wet so we went back into the ship to take a hot shower to take away the cold. If we had waited for the AC bus, we would probably have been sick. Of course the storm blew quickly and the rest of the day was sunny and hot. For us they gave us half of the cost of the excursion.
Here is Antigua from the ship.
Tonight is dress us night. Since we were given a table for two this year, ( I hated this. I enjoy a table with people ) we decided not to get photos this year.
Tomorrow we arrive in Barbados and we have an excursion set. I hope that there will be no rain. See ya then.

My Wonderrful Cruise
Good morning friends. I'm home after my cruise and it was great, well it was great until the ship left Fort Lauderdale. The night before we left I stayed at the Fairfield Inn, Romulus, Michigan. We've always stayed here before our flight but that night was awful. We had to get up at 3:30 am to have the shuttle take us to the airport. Unfortunately a group of people decided to have a loud party, with loud music and singing and drinking which went on until I got up at 3:30 and they were still partying.
We arrived finally in Fort Lauderdale, found our luggage, took a taxi and finally to walking into the ship. But no, after having our pictures taken we were told that there were some glitches in the machines and therefore all of us would have to have our pictures again. You taken about over 3000 people. We had to wait for 2 1/2 hours until we were told we go into the ship.
All we wanted to do was to go to our stateroom and rest.
8237 was our stateroom and once we were in there, we really felt that we were ready for a good cruise but Mary Lou wanted to rest for a little.
While I was putting all my clothes away we had a knock on the door. It was our steward.
His name was Aki from the Philippines and he said if we wanted anything just let him know.
--------------------------------------
After resting, we went to the Oceanview Cafe where we would be going each morning and lunch and anytime you wanted something to drink or eat or even just to have some ice cream which we did doing each day.
Mary Lou and I usually had our breakfasts & lunches outside on the back of the ship.
Everyday when we went to the elevator to take us some place, we would pass by this amazing scene, a gigantic tree in the middle of the ship between the elevators.
Since we had the first two days on the sea, it allowed us to go and see the ship again eve though this was our second time om the Reflection.
Excuse our appearance because this was still the clothes we had when when we walked onto the ship. We will look better later on.
This was the 3rd deck where the Guest Relations and Shore Excursions took place.
One morning I decided to walk around and just take some photos. Here was the casino on the ship.
As I passed the casino I saw some very weird things just standing along the floor. What do you think about these?
There are many other photos, I took 175 photos but I not going to bore you with all 175, only the ones that will enjoy you about the cruise.
In a couple days, I will begin my excursions and one of them started and ended quickly in a storm. See ya then.
