Continue The Cruise

Good morning everyone. I keep saying the same statement. How's this.
Buongiorno amici. Today is an island that I went to for my first cruise and that is.....

ST. MAARTEN

St. Maarten was destroyed by a hurricane but today it has picked itself up and I'm happy to be here again.

This is the back part of our ship and after turning I had a nice lady take our photo, now that we were on St. Maarten

I'm just going to show the photos and I might place a comment here and there as we walk around.

I told Mary Lou just to stand near this character who was turning his penis out but as you see, she wanted to show me that she's still in control. Ha,ha,ha.

 What beautiful flower and yes, there are washrooms on the island of which I needed. Excuse me for a moment.

This cutout pointed out where to buy which we did. Something to drink and I bought a cowboy hat. 

While we were sitting down having a drink, my favorite travel agent and friend Nancy and her husband Edger passed by and sat with us for a few minutes. Soon they left us to walk around the area and the two of us were ready to go back on to the ship. Before we left Mary Lou needed to buy new  reading glasses. Last night going to dinner I placed her old ones in my pocket and as I sat down to dinner, I broke them in two. Here are her new ones and I really like them.

While back on the ship I took some photos of St. Maarten today.

Yes, I do hope to visit St. Maarten again in the future.

Tomorrow and Sunday are sea days. I'll have a final story about our cruise later. See ya then.

St. Lucia & St. Kitt

Good morning friends. The sun is shining out bright but it's very cold in Amherstburg.There are two islands that were on my cruise, St. Lucia & St. Kitt. These two island were my first island that were on my first cruise, 2007. 

St. Lucia

These are the three piers that cruise ships land. My first cruise the Carnival Legend landed on the Industrial Port but this time the Celebrity Reflection landed on Pointe Seraphine.

Mary Lou was leaving the ship with two friends from our group. They were going to on a another boat to see some whales, and other animals in the water and other things. Her friends were Bonnie

and Phylis

After they arrived back on the ship they informed me about a funny thing that occurred on the boat. 

The boat was really rocking and one moment Phylis fell over on to Mary Lou. These three just couldn't stop laughing about it. 
While they were having there fun I took some photos. I didn't go off the ship. Here's the photos.

The Costa Magica was on the Industrial port opposite us.

St. Kitt

Our ship was on the left. people are now debarking off the ships.They are entering St. Kitt.

We had some time before our excursion so I took a  photo.

We were then put on to small buses to go to the train station.

It wasn't much of a station. It was out in the field but here is the St. Kitt's Scenic Railway.

Most of the people decided to go up top but we went inside.

They gave us treats while on the train and had singers going to each car.

We went around the island. You saw some poor homes and good homes 

We were near the ocean again meaning that we were near our ship. 

After this educational excursion, We had only one more island and then back towards Fort Lauderdale.

Tomorrow, St. Maarten, the island that was destroyed my Hurricane Maria. We were suppose to have an excursion but later we told that that excursion would no longer be available do to the hurricane. See you later.

Cruise 2019

Good afternoon everyone. Today's excursion is to the island of                                  

BARBADOS

Many ships can be dock in this area. The Reflection was docked on the upper left location and the they shuttled us to terminal building to be put on buses for our excursion.

As we entered the terminal we were told to follow the red dots not the green ones. There we would be put on our bus.

The ships that were docked with us were the MSC Preziosa, 

the Coasta Magica,

our ship the Reflection  and across from the termimal was a sailing schooner.

While in the terminal I took a photo of Mary Lou & her new friend.

Once on the bus our excursion lady began telling us about the Barbados and all the good things about this island.

She should us where two famous people live while in the Barbados, the singer Rihanna who came from the Barbados and Simon Cowell, you know you he is from American Idol. She told us that he loves staying here and has bought some land in the Barbados.We passed by some sugarcane fields that are no longer worked on. She told us that today it would cost far to much to work on sugarcane.

Later we stopped for photo taking and to have a cool drink.

I wanted a closer lool at this rock and it was large.

Our guide later took us to a 17th century church and it's cemetery.

and finally, Ferdinando Paleolcus died 1678.

Once done, we were shuttled back to the ship and I sat on our balcony as we sailed away from Barbados to go to our next island, St. Lucia. See ya later friends.
