Bright Friday

Want to dance with my feline friends? They probably dance better then I can. Good morning everyone. Believe it or nor, the sun is beautiful and bright this morning. I want the same temperature that Bee has in Florida, 86 degrees. Maybe I'll get that sometime in the middle of June or July. My friend Al & his wife Meilin will be arriving home tomorrow night and Mary Lou & I are picking them up at the airport. Al will probably want to stop at his house to play a game of pool. I've bee playing pool every night with Mary Lou and she's been beating me again. Way back all she did was hit the balls but since she understood how to play the game, she's become a pool shark. Ha,ha,ha.
I'm enjoying watching her beat me ( not really but that's life )

Friday's Funnies

The Cliffhanger

A blonde, a brunette and a redhead are stuck on top of a cliff. A magical bird flies to them and tells them that each one of them can jump off the cliff and wish to be one thing to fly away on. They will become that thing and can escape from their arduous situation.

The redhead goes first. She jumps and says "eagle!". She turns into an eagle and flies away.

The brunette jumps off and says,"hawk!" she turns into a hawk and flies away.

The blonde takes a running start, trips on a rock as she nears the edge. "Oh crap!" she yells.

Do You Realize What I Am?

A blonde was telling her priest a Pollock joke, when halfway through the priest interrupts her, "Don't you know I'm Polish?"

"Oh, I'm sorry," the blonde apologizes, "do you want me to start over and talk slower?"

Past Cruise Photos

This was the photo that was taken on the Carnival Breeze. It was John Heald's Blogger's Cruise 6. That's John on the far left, me, MaryLou, Calvyn, John's assistant and of course that's my lovely friend Bee on the far right.

That's Mary Lou laying on a whatever it's called in the Serenity Deck. Adults only and is quiet and restful. Here's me on the Serenity Deck.
Don't we both look restful & serene?

                                    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's it for now. I feel very restful & serene after seeing those photos on the Serenity Deck. I think I'll take a break. Wait a minute, I'm breaking all the time. Ha,ha,ha. See ya

Sunny, Cold Thursday

I'm very happy this morning because my wonderful friend Bee assisted me in changing My Cruise Countdown. I could never figure it out and Bee use to do it for it but this morning she sat me down and slowly explained it to me. ( I'm a little slow in things dealing with the computer ) After helping me My Cruise Countdown is complete. The only problem and Bee can't help me with this one and that is the fact that it 330 days before my cruise. Yuck!

Thursday's Funnies

Fascinating Teacher Joke

The teacher asked her class of 8 year olds to use a sentence containing the word fascinate
Molly put up her hand and said, 'My family went to my granddad's farm, and we all saw his pet sheep It was fascinating.' The teacher said, 'That was good, but I wanted you to use the word 'fascinate', not fascinating'.
Sally raised her hand. She said, 'My family went to see Rock City and was fascinated.'
The teacher said, 'Well, that was good Sally, but I wanted you to use the word 'fascinate.'
Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher hesitated because she had been burned by Little Johnny before. She finally decided there was no way he could damage the word 'fascinate', so she called on him.
Johnny said, 'My aunt Gina has a sweater with ten buttons, but her bosoms are so big she can only fasten eight.'

Teacher's Magnetism

Mrs Mollard had been giving her second-grade students a lesson in science.
She had explained about magnets and showed how they would pick up nails and other bits of iron. Now it was question time, and Mrs Mollard asked, 'My name begins with the letter "M" and I pick up things. What am I?'
Tim, a little boy in the front row proudly said, 'You're a mother!'

This is a Blackjack table on the Carnival Miracle. I'm not gambler so all I do is just pass on by.

Our steward every night created towel animals. This particular evening he created two, a bird and the monkey.

Again, I'm done for today. Once again, I want to thank Bee for helping me with My Carnival Countdown. Have a great day friends. See ya.

Happy Wednesday

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a very different day. First it snowed, then it sleeted with ice and finally with normal rain with a temperature in the 30's. Today the temperature is going down, down until tonight will be in the single digits. I had a problem yesterday with trying to get my cruise early payment in. Carnival called and said that my VISA card wouldn't take so I called VISA and they said that it wasn't from our end so Carnival checked and later they took my money. Since everything is in American money, our bill will go up because my Canadian is down I ended up paying $100 extra in this early payment. Oh well, I'm still going.
Today is my friend Al's birthday. He's turning 70 years of age. Happy Birthday Al. See you when you return and as I said before you left, I;ll be baking a cake for you.

Wednesday's Funnies

A young Dentist had just started his own Clinic. He rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques.
Sitting there, he saw a man come into the front office. Wishing to appear the "busy dentist", the gentleman picked
up the phone and started to pretend he had to give an appointment.
Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?"
The man said, "Yeah, I've come to activate the phone.

A young man saw an elderly couple sitting down to lunch at McDonald's. He noticed that they had ordered one meal,
and an extra drink cup. As he watched, the gentleman carefully divided the hamburger in half, then counted out the
fries, one for him, one for her, until each had half of them. Then he poured half of the soft drink into the extra
cup and set that in front of his wife. The old man then began to eat, and his wife sat watching, with her hands
folded in her lap.The young man decided to ask if they would allow him to purchase another meal for them so that
they didn't have to split theirs. The old gentleman said, "Oh no. We've been married 50 years, and everything has
always been and will always be shared, 50/50." The young man then asked the wife if she was going to eat, and she
replied... "Not yet...It's his turn with the teeth!"

A Very Interesting Tuesday

The Carnival Breeze
Yep, I called my travel agent, Nancy we talked about arranging my next cruise. My next cruise is the
8 Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise to Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Kitts & St. Maarten on my carnival Breeze. I informed her that I wanted a cabin on the port side, either decks 9 or 10 and I even told her what particular cabin numbers I wanted.  Our dinner will be at 6:00 as we had this last cruise which we totally enjoyed. So, I just have wait for Nancy's call about if it's done. Later will deal with the flights to Miami. I'm feeling really great this morning even though we have having a bad morning and day weather report. Snow is beginning right now, later we are suppose to receive sleet with ice and finally later rain. What a mess we'll have but I'm not going any where and with my cruise arranged I:m a happy camper this morning.

Tuesday's Funnies

Old Age
Seems an elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%. The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, “Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again.” To which the gentleman said, “Oh, I haven’t told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I’ve changed my will three times!”

 Old Age
A group of senior citizens were exchanging notes about their ailments. “My arm is so weak I can hardly hold this coffee cup.” “Yes, I know. My cataracts are so bad I can’t see to pour the coffee.” “I can’t turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck.” “My blood pressure pills make my dizzy.” “I guess that’s the price we pay for getting old.” “Well, it’s not all bad. We should be thankful that we can still drive.”

Old Age
One night, an 87-year-old woman came home from Bingo to find her husband in bed with another woman. Angry, she became violent and ended up pushing him off the balcony of their apartment, killing him instantly. When brought before the court on charges of murder, she was asked if she had anything to say to defend herself. “Well, Your Honor,” she replied coolly. “I figured that at 92, if he could make love to another woman, he could fly!”

Monday's Funnies

The Ears Have It

Three friends decided to go deer hunting together. One was a lawyer, one a doctor, and the other a preacher.
As they were walking, along came a big buck. The three of them shot simultaneously. Immediately the buck dropped to the ground and all three rushed up to see how big it actually was.
Upon reaching it they found out that it was dead but had only one bullet hole. Thus a debate followed concerning whose buck it was.
A few minutes later a game officer came by and asked what the problem was. The doctor told him their reason for the debate. The officer told them he would take a look and tell them who shot it.
Within a few seconds the game officer said with much confidence, "The pastor shot the buck!"
They all wondered how he knew that so quickly.
The officer said, "Easy. The bullet went in one ear and out the other."

Nuts

A preacher went to visit an eldrly woman from his church who had just had an operation. As he was sitting there talking with her, he noticed a bowl of peanuts on the stand next to the bed. He began to eat them, and soon it was time for him to leave. When he got up he noticed he had eaten all of her peanuts.
"Sister Jones,"he said" I'm sorry I ate all of your peanuts."
She replied "That's okay pastor, I already sucked all of the chocolate off of them."

Monastary
A monastery in the English countryside had fallen on hard times, and decided to establish a business to defray their expenses, such as a bakery or winery. Being English, however, they decided to open a fish-and-chips restaurant. The establishment soon became very popular, attracting people from all over.
One city fellow, thinking himself clever, asked one of the brothers standing nearby, “I suppose you’re the ‘fish friar’?”
“No,” answered the brother levelly, “I’m the ‘chip monk’.”

Past Cruise Photos

These photos were when we were at St. Maarten. At this pier there at four large cruise ships. Ours was at the back on the right. That day there were at least 10 thousand people landing on the island and it was very hot that day.

Well, I'm finished for the day. See ya.

Snowing Sunday

I placed this photo this morning because since it's snowing at the moment, I know a photo that would make me feel good and that is a cruise ship that I already went on. The Breeze always makes me feel good just knowing that it took me away from the cold & snow.
I wonder, is there anything that makes you feel better when you are feeling down?

Sunday's Funnies

Clinton is vacationing

Last summer, the President and Mrs. Clinton were vacationing in their home state of Arkansas. On a venture one day, they stopped at a service station to fill up the car with gas. It seemed that the owner of the station was once Hillary's high school love.

They exchanged hellos, and went on their way.

As they were driving on to their destination, Bill put his arm around Hillary and said, "Well, honey, if you had stayed with him, you would be the wife of a service station owner today."

She smirked and replied, "No, if I had stayed with him, he would be President of the United States."

A plane was taking off from Kennedy airport.
After it reached a comfortable cruising altitude, the captain made an announcement over the intercom, "Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to Flight number 293, non-stop from New York to Los Angeles. The weather ahead is good and therefore we should have a smooth flight, now sit back and relax.
- OH MY GOD!" Silence.
Then, the captain came back on the intercom and said: "Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so sorry if I scared you earlier, but while I was talking the flight attendant brought me a cup of coffee and spilled the hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!"
A passenger in Coach said: "That's nothing. He should see the back of mine!"

On a Cruise Ship:

Top 10 dumb questions not to ask:
  • Do these steps go up or down?
  • What do you do with the beautiful ice carvings after they melt?
  • Which elevator do I take to get to the front of the ship?
  • Does the crew sleep on the ship?
  • Is this island completely surrounded by water?
  • Does the ship make its own electricity?
  • Is it salt water in the toilets?
  • What elevation are we at?
  • There's a photographer on board who takes photos and displays them the next day... the question asked..."If the pictures aren't marked, how will I know which ones are mine?"
  • What time is the Midnight Buffet being served?
