Sunny Sunday

This was what I looked like waiting for my plane. Getting up at 4:30 am doesn't make me look good. Sorry about that. It was a good flight to Miami and a quick job on to the Breeze. I guess being Platinum makes a different. The first thing I always do is take a photo out of my balcony and this is what was out.

Usually we get our luggage around 6:00pm but suddenly we received it as soon as we got to our cabin, That got us chance to quickly get on Lido.
Mary Lou looks happy but me..................
well I'm where I should be, on a cruise. After some food ( we hadn't eaten since 5:00 am except for some peanuts on the plane and a drink ) we did the usual preparations on ship and after that the horn sounded which told us we are moving and ready for fun.

As the ship moves I love taking a photo of Miami as I say.... Good bye Miami.
Miami Beach is the last piece of land that we will see until we get to Grand Turk. Now lets go to Fun shops to see what I can buy.
Not my cruise! All the windows are blocked with paper and a sign says ..... Very sorry but for Renovations. Are you kidding. I wait a whole month they want to renovate the place. This cruise doesn't start the way I wanted to.

Oops! I was taking a photo of the lido pool and someone bumped my arm and this beautiful young girl appeared on the screen. Oh well. Ha,ha,ha.
One other thing that sort of told me that this cruise might be not a good one was that while I was taking my clothes out of my luggage, I suddenly realized that I had forgot my suitcoat. Oh my God!
Time to go dinner at the " Blush Restaurant ". This has to the best table we've ever had in 10 years. Our table was lower area and right at the back of the ship with a large window. What a sight.  Maybe things might not be that bad.

After spending some time walking around the ship, we decided to go back to our cabin and this is what we saw, our towel animal. I smiled because I'm here. Exhaustion took over and we went to sleep waiting for tomorrow.  See you tomorrow with our " Fun Day at Sea ".

  1. I've never been on a cruise so I'm loving this play-by-play of your first day. Looking forward to reading more details.

  4. Cruises are okay, but hubby and I are far more happy cruising on our boat. We can go where we want, when we want and stay as long as we want. Works for us. I do enjoy cruising along virtually though.

Glad you're home safe although I heard you were sick.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  5. Even on the best trip, you have to expect that not everything is perfect, so i hope it turns out to have been a great one with a few minor hiccups. Love the elephant!
