Back to Monday

I think that this cat need his coffee. I have mine. Do you have yours? Good morning everyone.  My morning began with a visit at the mausoleum and prayed for my parents.  After that I went down and got two McDonald's coffee for Mary Lou & myself and then began planning our Easter dinner.  I'm hoping that you all enjoyed your Easter Sunday dinner. My guests stated that they ate, and ate until they were very full and after the clean up we all sat down and had Easter dessert. They left my home with a smile and so did I. Now we're back to normal. This morning after writing my blog we're going to visit my Uncle Rocco & Aunt Chris. I haven't seen them for such a while so I'll bring them coffee and visit for awhile. The rest of the day, well I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I know that the golfers are out on the course. Maybe I'll take a walk and see what they are doing. Maybe I'll see a golfer that I know.

Monday's Funnies

George Falls in Love

One Sunday morning George burst into the living room and said, "Dad! Mom! I have some great news for you! I am getting married to the most beautiful girl in town. She lives a block away and her name is Susan. After dinner, George's dad took him aside, "Son, I have to talk with you. Look at your mother, George. She and I have been married 30 years, she's a wonderful wife and mother, but, she has never offered much excitement in the bedroom, so I used to fool around with women a lot."

"Susan is actually your half sister, and I'm afraid you can't marry her." George was brokenhearted.

After eight months he eventually started dating girls again. A year later he came home and very proudly announced, "Diane said yes! We're getting married in June." Again his father insisted on another private conversation and broke the sad news. "Diane is your half sister too, George.

"I'm awfully sorry about this." George was livid! He finally decided to go to his mother with the news his father had shared.

"Dad has done so much harm. I guess I'm never going to get married," he complained. "Every time I fall in love, Dad tells me the girl is my half sister."

"Hee hee," his mother chuckled, shaking her head, "Don't pay any attention to what he says. He's not really your father."

Old Age Marraige Proposal

An elderly pair (he a widower, she a widow) meet in a retirement village. They seem to hit it off; they share each other's values, enjoy the same jokes, and find pleasure in each other's company.

After a few months, the widower asks for the hand of the widow in marriage. She appears hesitant and decided to probe her soon-to-be a little.

"Perhaps I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but... How's your health?"

"It's OK", he answers. "I'm not getting any younger, but I don't have any major health problems. I can still enjoy life".

"Well, then", she replies "I don't want to be a snoop, but I've got to protect myself: how are you fixed financially?"

"So-so. I'm not rich, but I'm comfortable. You don't have to worry about me sponging off you; I can support myself".

The little old lady blushes, and finally asks her swain - "And how's your sex life...."

"Infrequently", he declares.

The widow ponders this for a moment or so, before asking... "And is that one word or two?

Yellow Camero Poem

I stop at a light and gaze to my right.
I notice a beauty, enter my sight.
Oh Camaro, how beautiful you are.
I can not help but stare at you from afar.
Am I too blind to understand, that no car could ever love a man.
My love for you is unmatched, yet, I will never receive it back.
But that's okay, I understand.
No matter what, no one will ever comprehend.
A couple years ago, we met at a dealer.
My feelings for you were that of a girl and Justin Bieber.
Unfortunately, we were torn apart.
My heart was broken into a million parts.
I met your relatives, they were pretty neat.
Your brother, Corvette
and your father a Caddy.
Your mother Malibu
I seem to always forget.
But I will not stop until I get my way.
I swear, someday, I will have you in my driveway.
For in the mean time, I will continue to stare because that's all I have.

My love for you is until the end.
I'll see you next time, my yellow friend.
You gave me hope, you gave me strength.
Me and you together, the world will never comprehend.
