Beautiful Saturday Not

Today will not be a good day. It was blowing all night long and it's suppose to rain with thoughts of snow showers later in the day. How lucky for us. One good thing is that our friends Al & Meilin called last night and asked us if we would like to go out for dinner today. Of course I said yes because they are taking us to my favourite dinner place in town, " Riccardo's ". The owner Rick I know and he's a great guy. After dinner we'll be coming back to my place and Al & I will of course play some pool.

Saturday's Funnies

Nursing Home Smokers

Two old ladies were outside their nursing home having a smoke when it started to rain. One of the old ladies  pulled out a condom, cut off the end, pit it over the cigarette and continued to smoking.
Lady #1 : What's that?
Lady #2 : A condom. This way my cigarette doesn't get wet.
Lady #1 : Where do you them?
Lady #2 : At the drugstore.
So the next day Lady #1 hobbles herself into the drugstore and asked the pharmacist where are the condoms? Looking a little weird because the lady is over 80 but asks politely what brand do you prefer?
Lady #1 : It really doesn't matter as long as as it fits a Camel.
( The pharmacist faints )

Grandpa on the Porch

A man is walking down the street, when he notices that his grandfather is sitting on the porch in a rocking chair, with nothing on from the waist down. "Grandpa, what are you doing?" the man exclaims.
The old man looks off in the distance and does not answer his grandson.
"Grandpa, what are you doing sitting out here with nothing on below the waist?" he asks again.
The old man slyly looks at him and says, "Well, last week I sat out here with no shirt on, and I got a stiff neck. This was your Grandma's idea!"

Picking Vegetables

Two elderly ladies meet at the launderette after not seeing one another for some time. After inquiring about each other's health, one asked how the other's husband was doing.
"Oh! Ted died last week. He went out to the garden to dig up a cabbage for dinner, had a heart attack and dropped down dead right there in the middle of the vegetable patch!"
"Oh dear! I'm very sorry," replied her friend, "What did you do?"
"Opened a can of peas instead."

The wind is still blowing things around, thank God. I don't have to pick up leaves around my home. After they fall, the wind blows it to many areas, my neighbors. Have a wonderful Saturday friends and those of you who have read my blog but haven't commented lets do like my lovely friend Bee asks and that is lets see how many I get commenting on my blog, even if it's just a few. See ya.

  1. I'm sorry you are getting a touch of winter weather already. I know how much you love the summer. I guess you could just focus on your upcoming cruise and how warm it will be.

    Loved all the jokes.

Have a fabulous dinner out and enjoy your pool game. :)
