A Brilliant Sunday

Good beautiful morning everyone. After a rain last night, we are going to have one heck of wonderful Sunday. Amherstburg is having a car show thos afternoon. I might take it in. Well we and later the afternoon, I need to watch golf. Today is the 4th round of the Canadian Open. Yes we in Canada do have an open just like the US open and the British Open. Last night we celebrated Cole's birthday. He turned 7 years old. It was an interesting evening with good food, gifts and of course cake. After the children went outside and ran through the the water. They sure enjoyed themselves.

Hottie at the Bus Stop
In a crowded city at a crowded bus stop, a beautiful young woman was waiting for the bus. She was decked out in a tight leather mini skirt with matching leather boots and jacket. As the bus rolled up and it became her turn to get on, she became aware that the skirt was too tight to allow her leg to come up to the height of the first step on the bus.
Slightly embarrassed and with a quick smile to the bus driver, she reached behind her and unzipped her skirt a little, thinking that this would give her enough slack to raise her leg.
Again she tried to make the step onto the bus only to discover that she still could not do it. So, a little more embarrassed, she once again reached behind her and unzipped her skirt a little more and for a second time attempted the step, and once again much to her chagrin, she could not raise her leg because of the tight skirt.
So, with a coy little smile to the driver, she again unzipped the offending skirt to give her a little more slack and again was unable to make the step.
About this time, the big Texan that was behind her in line, picked her up easily from the waist and placed her lightly on the step of the bus.
Well, she went ballistic and turned to the would be hero, screeching at him, "How dare you touch my body? I don't even know who you are!"
At this, the Texan drawled, "Well Ma'am, normally I would agree with you, but after you unzipped my fly three times, I kinda figured that we was friends."

Joe had asked Bob to help him out with the deck after work, so Bob went straight over to Joe's place. When they got to the door, Joe went straight to his wife, gave her a hug and told her how beautiful she was and how much he had missed her at work.

When it was time for supper, he complimented his wife on her cooking, kissed her and told her how much he loved her. Once they were working on the deck, Bob told Joe that he was surprised that he fussed so much over his wife. Joe said that he'd started this about 6 months ago, it had revived their marriage and things couldn't be better.

Bob thought he'd give it a go. When he got home, he gave his wife a massive hug, kissed her and told her that he loved her. His wife burst into tears. Bob was confused and asked why she was crying.

She said, "This is the worst day of my life. First, little Billy fell off his bike and twisted his ankle. Then, the washing machine broke and flooded the basement. And now, you come home drunk!"

Susie Lee fell in love.
She planned to marry Joe.
She was so happy' bout it all,
she told her Pappy so.
Pappy told her, "Susie Gal,
you'll have to find another.
I'd just as soon yo' maw don't know,
but Joe is yo' half-brother."
So Susie forgot about her Joe
and planned to marry Will.
But, after telling Pappy this,
he said, "There's trouble still.
You can't marry Will, my gal,
and please don't tell yo' mother,
cause Will and Joe and several mo'
I know is yo' half-brother."
But Mama knew and said "Honey Child,
Do what makes yo' happy.
Marry Will or marry Joe,
you ain't no kin to Pappy!"

Past Cruise Photos

Mary Lou looking out into the open seas. This being our first cruise and her being able to swim, I wondered if she was a little uneasy. What do you think?

This was a beautiful photo that I took but you'll notice that the ship was rolling a bit and we ready for dinner.

This was my first attempt of making a 4 layered colored cake. I had to make two full cakes to complete this one. It took some time to finally eat the entire cake. The grandchildren enjoyed it though.

Well, I've finally completed this blog. Have a great sunny Sunday friends.
