July 13th, A Special Day

As you can see, today is our 41st  anniversary.  It has been wonderful That day wew promised for better or worse, there was no way we could have known what that would mean. But as the years have gone by, we've come to understand. It meant that whether things were running smoothly around here or they got a little crazy, whether I needed a best friend in my corner ( my stroke at 27 years of age ) or just one of her smiles to remind me, everything would be okay, whether we shared a magic moment or just the day to day moments. It meant that our love was real, we were here for each other. 
We were in this together for better or for worse.

The Old Man & The Wizard
An old man goes to the Wizard to ask him if he can remove a curse he has been living with for the last 40 years.

Well I'm all done for today. Sorry if you thought that this post was a little mushy but I'm a romantic. 41 years is a lot but I'm going for a great deal more and Mary Lou knows that I want many, many more years with her.
