Not Warm Yet Thursday

The temperature in the house when I woke up was 63 degrees F. and it's suppose to be may 14th. Give me a break. Now, that break will take place this weekend when it is suppose to hit the 80's. Now that is what it should be. Good morning friends. I'm having a large cup of coffee and I'm raring to go today. This is lunch Thursday when I go have a lunch at McDonald with my cousin Dan. After dinner my friend Al asked us to come over so that him & I could play some pool. Yesterday my neighbor Brian asked me if I wanted to play golf over at Pointe West but I had to unfortunately decline. I told him that my ankle isn't ready for a game but but June I'll be ready. Oh how I wanted to play but I realize that if I went, my ankle could be hurt because walking up & down the hill would injure it again. I'll be ready soon. Thanks Brian for thinking about me.

Thursday's Funnies

Two fellows were sitting in a coffee shop...suddenly the Town's Fire
Alarm went off... one jumped up and headed for the door... his friend
shouted, "Hey, Tom, I didn't know you were a fireman!"
Tom replied, "I'm not, but my girlfriend's husband is..."

BELL 4

A fireman came home from work one day and told his wife and said, "You know, we have a wonderful system at the fire station:
"BELL 1 rings and we all put on our jackets.
"BELL 2 rings and we all slide down the pole.
"BELL 3 rings and we're on the fire truck ready to go.
"From now on when I say BELL 1, I want you to strip naked. When I say BELL 2, I want you to jump in bed. And when I say BELL 3, we are going to make love all night."
The next night he came home from work and yelled, "BELL 1!" The wife promptly took all her clothes off. When he yelled "BELL 2!" the wife jumped into bed. When he yelled "BELL 3!" they began making love.
After a few minutes the wife yelled, "BELL 4!"
"What the hell is BELL 4?" asked the husband.
"Roll out more hose," she yelled, "you're nowhere near the fire!"

Fireman John rushed into a burning building and rescued a beautiful young lady who was clad only in the top half of her baby-doll nightgown.
He carried her in his arms down three flights of stairs and saved her from her sure demise.
As they arrived safely, a wash of gratitude rushed over her.
She looked at him with great fondness and admiration, then said, "Oh, you are wonderful! It must have taken great strength and courage to rescue me the way you did."
"Yes it did," the fireman admitted. "I had to fight off three other firemen who were trying to get to you first!"

  1. I just love, love that last one about great friends only making you cry is when you're laughing hard. Aren't we all fortune when we can say that we've had/have friends like that in our lives.

  2. I love the inspiration here, Paul, your photos are beautiful and the first funny made me laugh, and then I saw the cats helping the fireman and I laughed even harder!!! I also love storms and find them relaxing as well, so you are not alone, Paul! :)

  3. Sorry it's so cold for you this morning. It's pretty chilly here too. It's the coldest May that I can remember. Usually it's very hot here in May.

Loved all the jokes as always.

Have a fabulous day my friend. ☺
